You will learn the true art of teaching Pilates, combining Joseph Pilates’ methods with Limhamn Pilates unique approach. You will become an effective, safe hands-on instructor and will know how to confidently modify and teach the work to any client of varying needs and abilities.

Limhamn is the home to world class Pilates teachers and globally recognised Teacher Training programmes. Our immersive Reformer, Comprehensive and add on programms  have produced teachers of the highest calibre who have gone off to do great things or stayed with Limhamn Pilates and had the opportunity to join our teaching team.

 

Our mission is to preserve the legacy of Joseph Pilates and create skilled and confident teachers who can inspire their clients through this incredible and powerful work too. Founder Faith Clements, who has been an advocate and practicing the original work for over 10 years has poured all her passion, experience, and love of this method into LP's  training programmes.

 

These programmes don’t just include learning the exercises and principles behind Pilates, but the unique teaching tools that enable you to stand out in an ever-growing marketplace.

PRE-REQUISITES & COMMITMENT

 

The program begins with your preparation.

 

All potential students must take a minimum of 5-10 private Pilates sessions at Limhamn Pilates or an approved studio before commencing the course.

 

It will be at the discretion of the Education coordinator if more sessions are required.

 

You must have a good level of understanding of the Foundation work and be able to demonstrate this before being accepted on the course.

​

All successful applicants before registering must confirm that you have read and understood the commitment of time required to complete the course. It is the students’s responsibility to ensure the course hours fit into their schedule and life commitments.

Unlike other weekend educations, you are required to be in the studio studying, practice teaching and joining our studio classes to both understand the exercises in your own body and understand how to support the body you are teaching. This will cut you apart as a teacher with a depth of experience and learning that’s not possible to pick up on a weekend certificate course.
