To be a successful Pilates instructor requires many things and its why at Limhamn Pilates we do not just offer a weekend course. We offer an apprenticeship where you are required to focus, study and learn in a practical manner. To be a successful teacher requires not only a certificate but many many hours of teaching practice. Your education certificate is just the start.

Successful students can be invited to teach at Limhamn Pilates Studio.

You both attend Studio education, own practice, teaching practice, class attendance and

class observations as part of your apprentice education.

STUDENT REQUIREMENTS

To apply you must have:-

 

Completed at least 5 classes at Limhamn Pilates

Be confident to guide a class

Have a good attitude as no.1 & be committed and open to coaching & feedback

Prior teaching experience is not essential

This is a robust education, with a selective admission procedure & limited spots.

The first step is to book an assessment PT with our founder.  After successful 

completion our course admission prospectus will be sent to you.

Students are required to commit to the course and follow the requirements

with a willingness to accept mentoring and feedback.

Duration of own practice & practice teaching 1 -2 months

 

You Will Develop:

Graduates who demonstrate readiness may be invited to teach at Limhamn Pilates, supporting our community through small group classes and private training. Our intention is long-term professional development within a boutique studio.​​​​

Unlike other weekend educations, you are required to be in the studio studying, practice teaching and joining our studio classes to both understand the exercises in your own body and understand how to support the body you are teaching. This will cut you apart as a teacher with a depth of experience and learning that’s not possible to pick up on a weekend certificate course.
